Programme information:
Postgraduate Diploma in M level programme (NQF (Revised Level7)) with 120 credits. It consists of 8 compulsory taught modules (or) 6 compulsory taught modules with Apprentice & Work Experience / Project Portfolio as compulsory module. All the compulsory modules count towards the assessment for the qualification.

The credit value for each module is the same. Each module is equal to 14 credits.

8 Modules at 15 credits (or) 6 Modules at 15 Credits and Apprentice & Work Experience/ Project Portfolio at 30 Credits is a total to 120 credits.

1 credit is equal to 12.5 hours
15 credits is equal to 187.5 hours including GLH, Private study, Assessment etc.

Postgraduate Diploma in Hospitality Management with Work Placement

Since placement is an integral part of the PGDHM therefore students will be required to undergo six months audited paid placement in a Hospitality environment business.

Some of the businesses we work with are Hotel Chains, Fine Dinning, and Multi Cuisine restaurants. It will be the college's responsibility to find a suitable placement for students enrolled on this programme.

Students are permitted to work for 37.5 hrs per week under the UKBA work placement rules, the wages will be paid according to the placement rules.

At the end of the Audited placement, student will be given a score and this will form part of their marks to the entire course.
